The problem before we stepped in

Elderly people living alone or in care homes, and children and families in neighbourhoods weighed down by the crisis — people who need more than material help: moments of joy, presence and attention that keep their dignity.

02

What One Life did

The elderly have had an essential place in our journey. We drew close to their needs and circumstances, and made sure our care for them was built on respect, presence and the preservation of dignity.

Our volunteers prepared and delivered gift boxes to families in the neighbourhood, and we organised community days of games and activities for children.

As our experience grew, we began to look beyond the individual case and ask:

How can one project serve a larger number of people?

That is where our move towards initiatives, spaces and projects with wider community benefit began.

03

The result & real impact

Visits, outings, gifts and days of joy that gave the elderly back the feeling that they are not forgotten — and activities that serve more people at once, from which the idea of the One Life Centre grew.
